Here are a few random shots from the last few days....



I think she looks just like her cousin Dylan here! She had a very messy lunch this day.

When she wears a dress she wants to put it in her mouth. This the last time she will get to wear this dress because she has outgrown it I believe. She is still in between 0-3 and 3-6 month stuff...I never know what will fit from day to day now!

I put her down in my bed for her morning nap while I cleaned the bathroom. She is now officially sleeping in her bed and has been now for almost two weeks!

Pretty in purple! Oh, she is now wearing big girl socks as I call them...6-12 months now! Yes, that is right. Our girl has big feet!

New In Town

She so could roll to her tummy. I know she can, but probably doesn't because she doesn't like being on her tummy now. There she goes in the last picture sticking out her tongue like Paul! Too funny! She loves this ball.

A Look Back

Here I am two days before I went into labor with Addison. I still remember what it felt like to have her in my tummy...it has been only four months and all! My, how my world has changed since! A few thoughts on my experience so far...

-babies are a miracle in your arms
-babies cry...for no reason sometimes...and it's OK
-new mom's cry...for no reason sometimes...and it's OK
-hormones suck
-your baby is the most beautiful baby EVER
-being a mom is exhausting, fun, overwhelming
-me time does not exist anymore
-socks are a joke
-comfort over style
-NEVER say NEVER
-don't compare babies...they are all DIFFERENT...go figure
-sleep, no more
-breastfeeding is a great bonding experience
-holding your baby makes the world all better
-the new life is a new beginning
-a moms ultimate goal is to work themselves out of a job...think about it
-worry, worry, worry...it never ends
-mother guilt is something fierce
-moms doing laundry at 2 am isn't abnormal
-bloggong at 1 am isn't abnormal.... :)
-motherhood is the best ever..what a blessing we have been given
- WE LOVE OUR ADDISON GRACE SOOO MUCH...and that is a fact!
