Wow, here we are the post before the BIG ONE YEAR post! WOW! Kids make time fly! Seriously just like today I am not sure where it has went! I so want to take in every minute of their babyhood, but now we are getting ready to enter toddler hood....WHOA! I love have a little baby on my hip! I don't mind changing diapers or buying baby stuff! Don't get me wrong, they are EXPENSIVE, but I just love being a mommy and all of the stuff that comes along with it....EXCEPT the less amount of sleep you get! ;)

On to my boy, yes, he turned 11 MONTHS OLD on April 13!!! And he is WALKING 4/22! Oh yeah! He will occasionally crawl, but prefers to walk. While my mom was here he got lots of extra hand held walking and has only gotten stronger and stronger each day and more stable. It has been amazing to see the difference in him. He loves it too! He tries to run. He also started saying UH Oh! He loves to play the Uh oh game and drop something and have you pick it up 4/5. His two bottom teeth have popped through 4/15. He says Awwwww 4/18. Says La, La, La with tongue 4/19. He is wearing 12 month clothes, going into a size 4 shoe, size 4 diaper and at the moment doesn't care to wear shoes. He is taking about 3 full formula bottles a day with mostly table food...he does really like baby food fruits so of course still buys him what he likes, but he does eat table fruit too! ;) His fav table fruit is mandarin oranges, blueberries, and grapes. He really likes meat, pasta and rice. It is funny to see him walk around and carry toys with him or socks or whatever he can grab He still enjoys is bink, paci, soothie.....I still haven't come up with one word for it, but I do kinda like the sound of bink! :) I figure I will take that away after he turns one year sometime after we work on taking the bottle away first.

I have to just boast a minute and say I am so happy with my little family! I have a sweet, bright, active daughter and a happy, sweet son and a wonderful, hard working and loving husband and I can't forget my two fur babies who do so good with the babies...I.AM.BLESSED! :)

My dear boy--I love you so! You have such a sweet demeanor about you. You are always laughing or smiling about something. You think everything is funny. You do something new every day and are growing TOO FAST! I enjoy cuddling you and giving you a bottle, BUT I miss breastfeeding you so much. I know it is time to move on to real milk soon anyway...you are already taking a few ounces already...but I miss that with you just as I did with your big sis. You hate to have your diaper changed these days so bad, I have to distract you. Now, that your BIG 1st BIRTHDAY is SOON, I am busy planning your first birthday photo (smash cake photo!) and your party....Let's Dig Up Some Fun...Mason's Turning ONE!!! That's right little boy, Mommy is planning you a fab Construction day just for you....and oh, yes, there will be ice cream...your fav....you can count on it! You were lactose intolerant for the first 6 months of you life, just like your daddy was when he was little, so you are making up for it now! LOL!

She Cracks Me Up

Good Morning All!

Yay, for getting caught up on my blog...now I am only two weeks behind! WOOHOO!!!

My BIG 30th Birthday!

Oh, how I must tell you my birthday was just wonderful in every way possible! It started off great. The weather was PERFECT! My Mom got to spend my special birthday with me which meant so much! She really made my day extra special by spoiling me so in every way! I got lots of calls and texts from dear family member and friends who were wishing me best wishes on my day. Made me smile! Thanks everyone! After some outdoor time with the kiddos I was getting ready to head out to get a pedicure and have some Mommy alone time, when I got SURPRISE flowers from my hubs! Super sweet....he remembered me saying months ago I wanted flowers since it had been awhile...and roses...something diff than my normal fav wildflowers or carnations. So WOOHOO!!! So spoiled and that is not even the end of it! I must also add God knew what he was doing by making grandparents as built in babysitters! :) I loved my mom's suggestion for getting a pedi!!! Thanks Mom! :)

But when I got back I got MORE surprises....!!! That's right! I walked in and Paul came home earlier than normal and Addison was handing me a gift wrapped in some of my favorite wrapping paper... it was flip flop wrapping paper!!! I LOVE flip flops! My mom thinks of EVERY detail! New make up and new flip flops for me! Boy, I am a lucky girl! I must add a 30 year old girl! WOW, I am no longer a 20 something year old...!

Once I got home from getting my feet pampered it was time for me and Paul to go to one of my favorite restaurants in town, Ruby Tuesdays, and have some Mommy & Daddy dinner time!!! Yes, can you believe this?!!? Fab day, right?!?! We had an appetizer and a meal and enjoyed it all--WARM!!! That's right, and it was more enjoyment than work...plus we got to have a conversation without interruption. Thanks again Mom! Happy birthday to me! Whoa!

AND more....Paul surprised me with an ice cream cake, but not just ANY ice cream....my new fav blizzard from DQ is Midnight Truffle...you must try...trust...I've had one too many...but the cake was a midnight truffle blizzard cake that he ordered special for me! ;) Wow, they really put some thought into this for me! I feel so blessed and happy. What a happy birthday! Thanks all for making it so special! I'm so glad I my mom got to spend it with me this year! Super special!!!

Me and my BEAUTIFUL flowers...I had told him I didn't care what color (when I mentioned months ago...suggesting red, white and pink) and notice at the top my favorite flower...pink carnation! He came home the day before bringing my one pink carnation and gave it to me so I thought that was all I was getting, but he was just teasing me!

April 12- Colored Bubbles, Pics with Birthday Mommy, Catch

We started the day off with some outdoor play time since it was GORGEOUS! It was the perfect birthday weather for the birthday girl...oh, yeah that was ME! :)

Colored bubbles are a cute idea....by the pool with plenty of water! LOL! She had it all over her and me too....along with the sidewalk. It was super fun though.

It is kinda soupy....it dripped all down her jacket on her shoes even. I was so glad I put her jacket on her that I only paid $3 for! ;) It came out though for those of you wondering....although it still hanse't come out of my carpet. :/
