Lake

I was trying to keep breakfast simple and easy...so here ya go! Breakfast of champions! :-)

I didn't believe it until I saw, but yes the Lake was down even after all of that rain we just got a few days before.

Look at his hair.....heeeheee.

My Nature Girl...love it!

Love this.

And this too.

After some time checking out the lake and ball time with Alley we headed up for a walk to the park.

April 29- Chief's LORA Camping Trip

This weekend all the Chief's and families got together to camp up at LORA/Osage campgrounds. It really wasn't "true" camping when you see where we stayed...a cabin...with a every thing...nice...especially with TWO LITTLE kids! We were just sad it was only for the weekend. We all wanted to stay longer.

It had a nice screened in porch. Perfect for the dogs to hang out, but not be right outside as well as the kids too.

I had to move the dogs water bowl quick!

There was a grill and a firepit on all of the decks.

This is the view out of our front door...you can see the lake. I didn't get too many pics, but I will share what I do have of course.

Playing ball with Alley. The dogs had fun too!

The steps go up to a loft, there is a bedroom and a futon. Pretty roomie.

4/25 Flooding: Rain, Rain, Go Away!

I had to throw this one in here real quick..Addison's FIRST spin brush! It was in her Easter basket...she loves it!

April 25...end of Longview looking over Rt 17...

One side of the bridge...

...the other...

April 26...same spot at end of Longview.

To the right of Longview down the road a few feet.

Coming down Longview...notice the river has flooded the field!!!

WOW!

The water was almost up to Longview.

WOW! Scary! I am so glad we live up on a big hill! It isn't as nice in the snow, but luckily they salt it really well.

It took it about a week to really go down.
