She is doing so good at her shapes it is amazing! She learns so fast!

Instead of cutting up her Babel cheese I let her bite into it, she did great until she got to the very last bite or so and tried to swalloow it all! I think we will stick to Mommy cutting it into chunks for now!

Bad Mommy Award

So as I was attempting to actually sit down and eat some breakfast, then Addison hops onto the couch, I tell her 'NO!', like she will automatically get off the couch, then in a split second she reaches down for something and hits her eye on the corner of the end table! YIKES! Oh yes, she cried and I about did too! I felt HORRIBLE and still do!!! At first I thought oh, she is okay, then I saw the cut on the corner of her eye and red spot on her cheek! OH NO! We were so worried and contemplated taking her to the ER. We had some friends even come look at her to get some other Mommy opinions. We decided to keep an 'eye' on it, no pun intended. By the time she woke up from her nap the swelling had already went away and she just had a red mark. She is fine thankfully! I can say with confidence I am sure this won't be the last time she gets hurt, she is so brave, active and independent. She will jump or climb about anything that she can! SHEW! I got my hands full!

Look Who Stopped By to Visit

Uncle Mark came out to MO for the long weekend. He came all out of his way to stop by for a few hours on his way back to VA!

We were so glad to see him, but it looks Addison really missed her Uncle Mark! She gave him lots of hugs. For some reason Mark has a way with kids and they all love him and Addison is no different as you can tell!

Sharing laughs is always fun!

Addison loves to show off her new sounds that she makes with her tongue. Not sure who was trying to imitate who here, but I thought it was cute. Thanks for stopping by Uncle Mark even though we were out of your way! We were glad to see you.

Favorite Thing to Do...

She loves pushing her babies in her stroller! Somehow she knows that a baby is to go in it....this amazes me for some reason. I can't believe that she knows to put a baby in and push it around!

Big Girl Plate

She loves tuna noodle casserole!!! She ate TWO plates FULL!!!

She continues to do better and better using silverware.

New Overalls & Hat

We went up to Osage and stopped by to do a little shopping. Paul took Addison so I could do some looking around, well when he came back with her he had a shopping bag from Oshkosh. He got her these cute overalls, beanie hat and a monkey. I thought it was the cutest thing ever that he picked out her some clothes all by himself! I have to say I am quite proud of him, but I knew he had good tastes already! I LOVED it!

Hair

On a mission once again.

She just got out of her high chair and look at what happens with her hair! I just bought some actual conditioner for her hair so maybe that will help with her crazy little afro she has going on!
