First Bottle

June 8 was Mason's first bottle given by Paul (he was two days from being 4 wks old). He had been fussy for a couple nights in a row before bed. I knew he wanted more milk, but figured he needed to help me make more, breastfeeding mom's know what I am talking about. Anyhow, this night we decided to give him a bottle... Paul was ready to partake in feeding him which I think is wonderful. :) The hospital gave us a 6 pack of these already ready bottles so we just gave him one of those. He ate over half the bottle after nursing mind you plus an hour or so later he nursed AGAIN! Shew weee this boy is an eater!!!!! Luckily, the very next night my milk came in just when he needed it! It is amazing how a woman's body grows a baby plus feeds it! I find this whole process wonderful and amazing...every step! LOVE IT! One more side note, Paul loved every second of feeding our son, but for some reason it is hard for me to see someone else feeding him as it was for Addison. I feel like that is my job, but I need to learn to share! ;)

Walking

I decided to take a quick pic of my two babies while we were out for a little walk in the neighborhood. I picked Addison some black eyed susans. Needless to say the flowers did not make it home! I must add pushing a double stroller sure is a good workout!

Brother's Swing

I knew Addison would make her way into the baby swing eventually! She even covered herself up with a blanket!!! Good thing she is tiny for her age.

Jeannie

Jeannie, our friend Mark's mom, stopped by to spend the night and see the babies. She lives in Memphis, MO which is about 4 hours or so from FLW. We were glad she came by for a visit because we just think she is wonderful. Addison loved playing with her. Jeannie was a kindegarten teacher for years and has a lot of experience with kids.

Splish Splash

Addison just loves being outdoors and especially playing in the water as you can see in the video. Now worries, at the end she fell but was not hurt!

Pool Time

Splashing Mommy is fun!

She wanted to sit her seat in the water.

Sliding is fun!

I told her to lay back so she could 'swim'. :)

Swaddle Me

This boy loves to be swaddled! I unswaddle him during the day in between his long naps so he can stretch out, but he certainly rathers to be wrapped up.... snug as a bug in a rug! At the time of this post, I have noticed he is ABOUT to outgrow his swaddle blankets! Luckily they make different sizes!

Almost Belly to Back

Posted by Picasa

I totally just got lucky catching this, but Mason ALMOST rolled to his back! I hear they do this first. I will have to look at Addison baby book to see what she did first, but I am pretty sure she went from belly to back first also.

Ice Cream

Our girl loves ice cream!
I recently discovered that there is a new place in town that serves hand dipped ice cream. We have been trying to get ice cream from there for weeks! There has always been something that comes up or like the last two times we went they were closed. However, we decided to buy waffle cones and ice cream and do our own 'hand dipped' ice cream! LOL.

Pushups

Paul was teaching her how to do a pushup. She thought it was so fun.

Tricycle

She calls it her 'bike' and asks to 'rideeeee'. She still loves her trike from Grandmom.

I think she was telling me to 'gooo'.

Trying to figure it out.

Pushing her baby.
