Baby Boy's Room
It is official our once spare room is now the baby's room! Here is little man's crib! We went with a construction theme that has contruction trucks and tools. I just love the colors in the bedding...avocado green, teal blue, butternut yellow. This is something that he won't outgrow for awhile and is not too babyish. Love it!
His changing table/dresser. I think this will work much better than a chest. It is still a work in progress. I am having to order the letters for his wall online since I don't have any stores around here that have them! I will of course take more photos later on! Notice in the left corner a little girl helping me pack my hospital bag. :)
Oh, and there she is helping again. :) Such a big helper! I got all his clothes washed and organized in the different size ranges. I think we are ready for his arrival!!!
In Her Crib
I was putting clothes away in her room the other day and she wanted to play in her crib. She wanted me to take her picture and look at what I caught on video! I did NOT think that she could put her little leg up over the crib like this!!!!!! I see us changing her bed to a toddler bed real soon!!!!!!!!
Blankets and More Blankets
Addison has really two certain favorite blankets that she loves. The pink fleecy one on the left that my Granny Billie Ruth made her and the beige one on the right that one of my best friends Cindy got her. She will ask specifically for these blankets or should I say 'blankeys'....that is what she calls them. She loves soft things! She also will put certain stuffed animals in her crib to sleep with now. She likes to snuggle. Off the top of my head right now I know she has 4 blankets in her crib with three stuffed animals!!!! And no, that does not scare me....now...it would have months before of course!
Just look at this little face!!!! I cannot get enough of her! Oh my! Love, Love, Love!
Broc-kee
Thank goodness for easy dinner nights, especially here lately! I am so tired by dinnertime all I can think about is crawling into bed! Any who, I love it that Addison goes for the broc-kee over the fish sticks and fries!!!
Bouncing Fun
Addison has become quite a ham for the camera here lately. She wants me to take her picture then wants to see them! In the above video she is going to town bouncing on her zebra...she just makes me laugh all day long!

CHEEEEEESSSSEEEEEEEEE
Wow, look at those teeth. Her eye teeth still haven't cut threw.
She was wanting me to take her picture and was saying cheese over and over again! This pic makes me laugh so much!!!
Playing in the Rain
We got a lot of rain over the weekend and I have to say I quite enjoy rainy weekends ever now and again. We got a ton of stuff done around the house which is always nice!
The above pic is of Addison venturing out into the rain. She LOVED it!!! She was so funny! She ran around for a little bit then she just stood there feeling the rain fall onto her. It is so amazing to see the newness of the simple things that we are so use to as adults that our child experiences.
This is pretty cool Mom!
She slowly made her way into the garage when the wind came! Good thing bath time is soon!
A side note about blogger....there has been some issues with posting pics specifically here lately. I have tried to fix these certain posts, but for some reason they still do not come out right. I will continue to blog and try to keep the blog as up to date as possible these upcoming days due to the impending arrival of baby boy...I don't want to get too behind....so hopefully blogger cooperates and posts correctly! ;) Blogging IS my hobby I have to say! :)

20 Months Old
I am just trying to get a pic of her with this sign. That is so hard these days.
She loves the outdoors!
The other day our little girl turned 20 months old! WOW! What happened to our little bitty baby girl?! She is so turning into a toddler and it makes me so sad. I know she has to grow up, but it is hard to see how fast time if flying! She amazes each and everyday with something new! She keeps us laughing and that is for sure!
Some facts about our baby girl:
-Loves cashews
-Wants to drink out of a 'big girl' cup so bad, she does pretty good for the most part ( she will spill a little) and I let her practice daily
-Loves books, puzzles and the outdoors
-Is obsessed with babies...baby dolls and real babies!
-She likes to take her baby dolls clothes off
-Walks around with her babies diaper bag, keys, and holding a cell phone up to her ear chatting away...daily!
-Can open certain doors in the house now....uh oh! Those safety door knob things are in my near future
-Loves to dress herself
-Loves putting shoes on...herself, Mommy or Daddy...or her babies even...she wants to play with brothers crib shoes SO BAD!
-Snuggling in the morning is the BEST
-Is starting to learn colors and shapes...she has some better days than others, but we will continue to work on this of course
-Speaking of colors this morning I piled up purple fruit loops and yellow ones and asked her which was purple and which was yellow and she knew
-Has two certain favorite blankets
-Likes to drink bathwater even when Mommy says it is yucky!
-Says numerous new words everyday...too many to keep up with...on today's list would be: purple, pink, clean, pants, Dora
-Just started wearing size 4 diapers
-Does not like dirt on the floor (I have taught her well! :) )
-Can say brother and Mason :)
-Loves music and to dance
-Enjoys watching Yo Gabba Gabba and Wonder Pets
-Likes to 'read' her books
I could go on and on about this sweet little girl!
Addison Grace you have brought so much love and happiness to our lives! Mommy & Daddy love you so very much. You continue to amaze us daily! Mommy wants you to know that she loves you with all of her heart and that you will ALWAYS be her baby girl! You could never be replaced! By becoming your Mother has shown me a new world of love and happiness that I never quite knew before. Having you has opened up a whole new world that I never knew existed. It is indescribable. I am so thankful and grateful to be your Mommy! I will always be your Mommy and committed to being the best for you that I can be. I just want you to know that I love you more than you will ever know!!! Mommy and Daddy think you are so special.
Love Always,
Mommy & Daddy
Snuggle
I guess she was so wore out from playing outside that she laid on the floor to watch Yo Gabba Gabba...her favorite show along with the Wonder Pets!
Let's Go Out to Play
Standing at the door saying "Outside, Outside, Outside"!
Runnin', runnin', runnin'....
She likes to eat in her wagon.
My Girl
Addison is very chatty these days! The other day she dropped her baby doll and told it "You're alright"!!!! That is what I tell her when she falls down. It cracked me up!!! This little girl keeps me laughing. She LOVES cashews these days and likes them in this certain container. She will bring the container to me and say "Nuts peeaazzee". She knows what she wants and when she wants it! Love her so!!!

Brushing Teeth
One of her new obsession's is brushing her teeth. We brush her teeth at least 3 times a day, which is good, but in the above pic she is trying to eat the baby toothpaste! So funny! Side note: notice the big girl hair barret!
Addison's Helping
The other morning as I was working on baby boy's room, Addison was checking out all his stuff. She grabbed this blanket and wrapped up in and was saying "Nite, Nite...". Too cute! She loves soft things!
Here she is trying on some of his pants! Oh no, I think they are a little small. ;)
Baby Boy's Furniture
Friday before last I picked up the dresser which finally came in! I could not believe that Babys R Us does not keep this stuff in stock, but however we got our baby boys furniture. Paul put the crib together that Saturday. 4/17
You can look back on the blog were he was putting Addison's furniture together...it seems like yesterday! I wanted the same convertible crib as Addison's just in cider.
Here is the dresser/changing table. More pics to come of his room! As of this post, I have already cleaned the walls, baseboards, window, blinds, ceiling, clothes and I just shampooed the carpet. I want it to be as dog hair free and clean as possible, just like with Addison. We got a lot of stuff done this past weekend so I am starting to feel more ready for his arrival. I have even started packing my hospital bag!
