I must add he just ended a very grueling 5 weeks of induction and just got back into town that day at noon from Millington, TN doing the last 48 hrs part of induction which, yes you guess it, is the hardest part.

My pretty girl....still waking up from her nap I do believe. I wish she was smiling because this would be even better of a pic.

My Dad and I pinning an anchor on each of Paul's collars. What an honor it was to do this! I am so incredibly proud of him. Only a very small percent of the people in the whole Navy achieve this honor, I believe it's like 4%. So in the Navy to reach this is like reaching the pinnacle of your career. Everything changes from here on out for him....even his uniforms. He has worked so very hard and deserves this great achievement! GO BABE! HOORAH! ;)

"Mommy pretties!" That is what I call pretties that go in her hair....because she use to pull everything out of her hair I started making it a big deal when I put stuff in her hair. Now she asks for 'pretties'!

New Pillow/Cases

Granny Billie Ruth made Addison her very own pillow along with some very pretty silky pillowcases. As you can see she loves them. It has to be in her bed at night.

Birthday Gift

Woody! She is obsessed with Toy Story! Actually so much so that she will probably be Jessie the cowgirl for Halloween.

Happy 73rd Birthday to Granny Billie Ruth

Granny with her birthday cake that I made her....carrot her favorite! I was so excited to get to spend a birthday with her. I don't think I have ever spent one with her. I was so glad that her and Dad could make it up for Paul's pinning ceremony plus make it for Granny's birthday on September 15!
