Our little girl turned 22 months on June 21, 2010...yes, I am a bit behind on blogging to say the least! These 22 months have absolutely flew by and they are only going by even quicker since having #2. It is amazing that 22 months ago Addison made me a mother and 20 months later Mason made me a mother for the second time around. I am so blessed with a wonderful husband and two wonderful babies. I cannot believe our little girl is ALMOST a TWO YEAR OLD!!!
Just a few facts about Addison:
Loves pickles, freeze pops, chips, bananas, cucumbers, steamed broccoli, fruit snacks, gogurt, french fries
Wants to snuggle when she wakes
Loves her new big girl straw tinkerbell cup
Yo Gabba Gabba rocks her world!
Dancing is fun
Water, water, water....is oh so fun!
Loves her baby brother and cannot get enough of him :)
Balloons are great fun
Talks constantly all day...even in short sentences
The newest sentence that comes to my mind: "I'm coming Mommy"
Bubbles, chalk, swinging, coloring and water are at the top of her fav list
LOVES LOVES LOVES to be outside and to go bye-bye
Each day she does or says something new. She catches on to things so quickly and will even shock me at times by doing things that I don't even think she is noticing. Today she "nursed" Elmo! That is right! She raised her shirt and put elmo up to her chest. I just laughed. WOW! Her smile lights up our world and her laugh is like sweet music! She definitely keeps us going and is starting to get the terrible two's attitude. About a week ago she all a sudden started telling us 'NO!' and "MINE!"!!!!! WOW! Where did that come from?! It is totally normal of course. She has learned that she is independent of us and has control over certain things in this world. I plan on nipping this in the bud before this gets out of control! Time out is working quite well for the most part for discipline. She likes for me to put "prettys" in her hair. Sometimes she will ask to wear socks when she goes to bed. I will ask her "what color?" and she will say "PINK!" She can recognize the letters A,B,C, and D. Several times she has noticed the number 1. She will lay on the floor and left her shirt and tell me "Tickle, tickle, tickle...." She loves it when I turn into the tickle monster although Paul seems to get much more giggles out of her than I.
Happy 22 months Baby Grace!!! Mommy & Daddy cannot believe they are about to have themselves a a full fledged TWO YEAR old here real soon! We got a GABBA Party to plan just for you!!! With LOTS of LOVE.....Mommy & Daddy :)
