Teddy Bears

She is loving her teddy bears. I try to rotate her toys and these bears had been put up, so every since I got them out she has been carrying them all around the house.

10 Months Old!

10 MONTHS OLD!!!

Here 10 months after giving birth to this beautiful baby and look at how much has changed in such a short period of time. Everyday is an adventure with her. So in honor of her turning 10 months old....

HERE ARE 10 FUN FACTS ABOUT OUR 10 MONTH OLD BABY GIRL:

1. She is very active! She is walking, talking (jibber jabber) and trying to run everywhere! She is not shy by any means and loves people. We call her our little social butterfly!

2. She loves to rearrange the house everyday. She will take anything possible and move it to another room. I was trying to find my sock and she moved it from the laundry room into our bathroom. She loves checking out her environment no matter where we are. She is very curious....about everything!

3. She loves the dogs. I think she is very curious about them, especially when they are playing. She loves to chase them around the house and from room to room.

4. She loves table food. She really hasn't had baby food in quite awhile. She eats usually whatever we eat. I always make sure she has a vegetable and fruit which she likes both so that is good. Her favorites are green beans, pea and carrots, broccoli, avocado, potatoes, applesauce, peaches, pears, blueberries, blackberries, bananas. Some other foods she ABSOLUTELY loves is chicken (big time!), cottage cheese, yogurt melts, gold fish, blueberry muffins, scrambled eggs, yogurt, and cereal bars.

5. She loves to play chase. One day when she was just crawling I told her I was going to get her and she loved it so ever since she has enjoyed that. She will actually take off away from you when you say that. It is the cutest thing ever! But now she RUNS in the other direction.

6. She has two teeth completely through the gums and as of yesterday (6/24) she has another one popping through so that makes 3....which explains her runny nose and crankiness! (Hopefully she won't be teething when we go home next week!) I am sure she will be teething here on out because after all she is 10 months old with only 2 teeth!

7. She LOVES the water! If she can find water to play with she will. She knows what rooms the dogs water bowls are in and if she can get a hold of their bowls she will dump it and then splash it EVERYWHERE! The poor dogs are lucky to get water now a days! We play in her baby pool often and of course she loves the splash park. I can't wait to see what she does in the pool! I did sign her up for swim lessons.

8. She HATES getting dressed and having her diaper changed. If Paul and I both are home then we both have to tag team her to get it done because she just doesn't want to be still....like I said in #1 she is VERY active! I wonder who she gets that from?!

9. She loves the out doors. She is just so curious about everything and wants to touch and squish it all in her hands.

10. She claps, high fives, waves, kisses, finds my mouth and nose. She also knows the words that go along with the actions. It is so cute! She picks up on things so fast, it is amazing.

11. I know I said 10, but we will add one for kicks....one last fun fact about Addison Grace...only TWO MONTHS until she will be ONE YEAR OLD! Wow, I cannot believe it. She is growing so fast. I am trying to hold on and catch every moment that I can because it is going by at the speed of light. So people get ready to celebrate on Saturday, August 22 at Addison's digs for a celebration of her being in this world for ONE YEAR! You are so loved little girl!

We love this baby so much that words cannot even describe it. She amazes us each and everyday. As soon as I think I got motherhood under control something changes! She keeps it interesting. We have so much fun with her and enjoy it all. Now that she is so much more interactive it is so much fun to see what she will do next...stay posted! One thing is for sure-we are SO BLESSED!

Happy 10 months Addison Grace!

Father's Day Surprise

For Father's Day I surprised Paul with tickets to a show in Branson. Branson is a lot like Gatlinburg, TN. There are lots to do there. We just went for the day. Its about an hour and half-ish from our home here in Waynesville.

We got there and had lunch at the Uptown Cafe which was pretty cool on the inside and had good food. Addison likes their chicken...not a surprise, then we went the the Titanic Museum. It was a two hour self guided tour that was really cool. They even had an ice glacier which Paul and I thought was the coolest. Speaking of cool then we made a stop for ice cream then we were off to see our show, The Acrobats of China, which we all enjoyed. Paul knew we were doing something in Branson, but he did not know what show for sure until we got there...so I managed to pull a little surprise on him kind of! Addison loved the drums and she was so into the show it was kind of funny actually. She had a snack there and even took a short nap during it. I have to thank my sister-in-law for telling me to vacuum with her sleeping from the very beginning...this child will sleep through most anything! YAY! Then we had dinner afterwards at Landry's, which we learned table clothes and children do not mix! Then we headed home. It was a nice day and I think Paul enjoyed his surprise!

Pie Time

At Commander's Day they were taking up money for the FRG fund. They had students donate money to certain instructors that they would like to see get a pie in the face. Well, little did they know they ALL got pie's in the face. It was so much fun! And the best part...I got to give Paul's pie to him...in the face. Oh yeah!

Me all smiles before just thinking about it!

Me during all smiles...and Paul taking it like a man! I LOVE LOVE this picture.

Every wife should get this opportunity at least once in a lifetime!

Oh, yeah and I rubbed it in his hair too!

Paul afterwards...such a good sport!

HOO-RAH!

Splash Park

At our park we have a splash park. It is pretty cool. Addison loved it! She even went in under the pouring water tree's! She is my little nature girl already! I love it! I can't wait to take her camping.

One side note I would like to make about the splash park, parents should also wear something they don't mind getting wet in! Paul and I both were soaked, but it was HOT so it felt good to splash around ourselves!
