Pumpkin Cookies & Pumpkins

I wanted to post this one separately because it is the first time Addison 'helped' me makes cookies! It was so much fun to watch her eat the butterscotch chips! She would say 'Mmmmmm'! This is my good friend Megan's recipe and I make them every year now! Thanks Meg!

Pumpkin Carving Party

On Saturday we had a pumpkin carving party and had a few friends over to join in on the fun with slimy seeds and orange mess! It was so much fun. Addison does not like pumpkin guts! I barely could get her to touch it, but that is what I figured. She is funny about textures. My friend Tammy's little girl, Alexis, didn't seem to mind it. Addison enjoyed 'helping' mommy scoop out her pumpkin and the bubbles were the best. Paul tried to cheat by using his dremel to carve out his pumpkin....he had on eye protection and all! He makes me laugh. All pumpkins turned out really cute and the day was warm and beautiful out so it couldn't have been better!

Such a Little Girl

She loves putting things in her purse and wearing things around her neck! I wonder if she will be a girly girl when she grows up.

BIG NEWS!!!!!!!!

We would like to share our BIG NEWS with our blog followers....I am pregnant!!! Our new arrival is due at the end of May, May 28 to be exact! A true blessing! We couldn't be any happier! For all of those who didn't believe us when we said we were expanding our family we really meant it! It's wonderful that Paul will get to be home for the entire pregnancy and for the birth of this child as well. We just cannot wait to see our new little addition. Please continue positive thoughts and prayers for a healthy pregnancy and baby!

Shapes With Daddy

She is getting so good at her shapes. She really enjoys doing shapes, puzzles and reading books! Hopefully that interest will carry on.

AGM 14 Months Old

October 21, Addison turned 14 months old! Our little bitty baby is growing up SO fast! We are such lucky parents to have a healthy, happy beautiful baby girl. Addison is learning things really quickly now. In like the last two weeks she has added several new words to her vocabulary, i.e. Poppa, Baby, Bear, Juice, Kisses...among others I am sure I forgot to mention! This morning I also think she sang along with me to 'Row, Row, your boat'...I think she said 'row,row'....sounded like it! 10/26 Some of her new favorites foods include cucumbers, black olives, and pretzels. She loves to bring books to us and for us to sit down and read to her, which we stop whatever we are doing to do this with her! One thing is for and that is that we love this baby with ALL of our hearts!!!

Goodbye Hugs

Can you tell we were having too much fun?! Addison was giving us kisses in the midst of of picture, but I thought it turned out pretty funny! Coco did not care as long as she was in her mama's arms.

Thanks Hayley for taking the time off and driving this way to visit us. I had so much fun and it is always nice to visit with our family. We enjoyed every minute and hope to see you soon! LOVE!

Addison & Aunt Hayley

Can you tell Addison loves her Aunt Hayley and I do believe Aunt Hayley loves Addison too! She had her on hip the whole time she was here and Addison loved playing with her. This child has gotten so spoiled these last few weeks! Cute new jammies too!

It is definitely different trying to get ready with a one year old in the house. Everything is an event and she was in on whatever action is going on even if it is just brushing teeth!

Playgroup Picnic

While Hayley was here we had Addison's pumpkin picnic with playgroup and it was so nice to have the extra hands with me! It was windy and trying to do crafts with a one year and wind is not the most conducive elements!

Tatiana is Addison's little playgroup buddy. Tatiana is almost exactly one month older. We have made good friends with them.

Addison's first craft was making a candy corn magnet...okay, she did have A LOT of help from mommy, but it was for her!

After the picnic we went and took Paul and the guys lunch and visited with them. Paul likes to see us during his workday, it breaks it up for him and we like seeing him during his workday too!

Girls Being Girls

I wanted Hayley to try on the cop hat, I thought she'd be cute and she was!

I told her those boots were as long as her legs so she had to try them on. Cute!

Hayley wanted Addison to pick out a toy from this toy store, but without much luck she didn't settle on one thing...BUT she tried them ALL out! She liked throwing this elephant down on the floor because it had wooden wheels and made noise! We had fun seeing what interested her and what did not.

Aunt Hayley!

Hayley took a few days off work to come down to spend a few days with us during her fall break! We did a little shopping in Springfield and we had so much fun together! I am so glad she took the time and drove up her...all by herself!!! She made it perfectly without any problems or getting lost. I knew she'd be fine, but I was a little worried about her, in the end I was so glad she did it!

Addison wore Aunt Hayley out! She LOVES to be swung around so whenever you go to pick her up sometimes she will buckle right underneath you! They enjoyed each other so!

Don't Go

Addison had so much fun she didn't want them to go! She said Poppa all day and at bedtime wanted Poppa. Too sweet!
