6 weeks old!!!

Today, October 2, Ms. Addison Grace is 6 WEEKS OLD!!! My girl is growing up way too fast! Where is the time going?!?! People weren't kidding when they said time really flies when you have kids. The look on her face in the second pic makes me laugh! I do not know what that is all about!

Tears

Wow, it is October! Fall is definitely in the air here in Missouri. The weather has been so nice I have gotten to opened the windows to let some fresh air in the house. There are still some 80 degree days. We never know from day to day if its going to be warm or chilly! Fall has become my second favorite season of the year.

Addison is doing great. She has tears now! And she is starting to sleep more at night...wooo hoo! I still do not sleep totally sound at night though. It is the weirdest thing...you almost get use to less sleep. Do not get me wrong because I would love to have eight straight hours of uninterrupted sleep. But I am not complaining because I love this little girl sooo much it's crazy!

In the second pic on top you see her tongue sticking out-again! In all of our discussions about children we never thought about them picking up this habit...Paul's habit I have to add. I think it is cute--of course.

Pretty Socks...

This is proof for all of you white sock haters...(you know who you are!) that Addison does have some pretty socks. They just won't stay on her feet! I have already lost a couple in these few weeks. There is a sock monster out there somewhere because they just disappear! 9/30

Who could not wake up in a good mood seeing this first thing in the morning?! I believe she must definitely be a morning person like her Daddy. She will just 'talk' all morning and now I can get her to smile for me. 9/30

Addison has taken quite well to being fed from a bottle. We try to have at least one bottle feeding a day so Paul can have an opportunity to feed our little one. I thought he was going to tear up when he fed her the first time! How sweet!

Umblical stump fell off! 9/27

Today Addison's umbilical stump fell off! Somehow we lost it! Now she can have real baths! Yeah!

I got this tummy time mat at wal-mart which is suppose to be a good stimulus for babies. She likes the music that the fish makes! If she is fussy I play that and she will calm down--usually!

My girl is losing her hair....most of the hair on top of her head has fallen out. The hair coming back is really light blonde. If I use the sponge on her head at bathtime more hair falls out! Right now it looks like she has a mini mowhawk!
