6 Month Vaccines

Happy even after her shots!

She got her shots today! Poor baby! She cried when they stuck her, but as soon as we picked her up she was happy and smiling! She wasn't fussy at all and no bad reactions. She weighed 14 pounds 2 oz (20%), 26 inches long (60%), and her head was 16.7 inches around (50%)....so she is long and lean. She got her first flu shot today, we go back in a month for the second dose.

First cracker...the doctor said we could start teething crackers, cheerios, etc. Later on we decide to wait a bit longer after a few chocking episodes...one in particular last night...scared me silly~!

I think I'd rather chew on my toy than the cracker.

Just rocking back and forth still...she really likes the remote so Paul is using that to lure her to crawl.

Sleeping Angel

She loves it now that she can touch the bottom and bounce...bouncing is her new favorite thing to do!

I decided to let her play with her food and feel the different texture. It keep her occupied while I unloaded the dishwasher!

The Melting Pot

We went to The Melting Pot this Valentine's with some of our friends, Jamie and Candice above, for a nice dinner. It was soooo yummy! It truly is an experience to go there and eat. It was all really good. Addison even enjoyed some bananas and apples! She was completely intrigued by the steam coming from the pots. She did great on the car ride there...it was 2 hours away, but on the way home she was having so much fun she didn't want to be in her car seat, but she finally tossed in the towel after about twenty minutes! We enjoyed spending time with our good friends, good atmosphere, and the good food. It was a great Valentine's Day for us...I even got tulips (my favorite) from my honey :~) !

Addison is sitting in a big girl high chair at the restaurant for the first time!
