Making Noodles

Addison was helping me make noodles. Of course she had her own dough so no worries! It was a good thing that bath time was shortly afterwards! I can tell she is going to be a big helper in the kitchen.

Take This Off

Hmmm, how do I take this off?

There we go!

Okay, Mommy if you say so I will leave it on, but I don't want to!

She really likes to take her clothes off these days. The other day I went in to get her after her nap and she had one arm out of her shirt. She makes me laugh!

Hats Are Fun

Let's Color Daddy

So again we were just hanging out inside because it is COLD COLD COLD outside! Paul and I like to play this game on the PS3 together so we got Addison busy coloring at her desk. It looks like she got bored at her desk and decided to color Paul. It happened so fast and it was so funny! We both couldn't help but laugh.

Snow Days

We got some more snow so today we are spending inside hanging out playing staying warm!

I figured since we were staying home because of the weather we would start practicing using the potty. For some reason I just love this pic of her. She thought it was so much fun at first to go 'pee pee on the potty', but now she is not so crazy about it. She did go TWICE so that surprised me, but now we are just taking is slow. I don't want to push her.

Boo boo! :( One minute she was fine and the next she bumped her chin. It is amazing how fast they can get hurt. It actually is kinda scary.

Bedtime Video

Here is a video right before bedtime. After story time I let her play a bit and wear herself out. I was trying to get her to talk. She is VERY talkative these days, repeating lots of what I say each and everyday. Her speech is very plain too....for the most part....we don't really do baby talk in our house so I think that has helped a lot.

Snow 1/4

So luckily the day before we got snow we got Addison a snowsuit...on sale! YAY! We didn't even know it was suppose to snow either so to our surprise we woke up the very next morning to it white outdoors. Our first opportunity we took her out to play.

She lasted for about 5 or 10 minutes...maybe....she wouldn't wear her gloves so her little hands got cold so we came back in to get warm.

We ventured back out later after her nap and all that to take the wagon out. Here she is pointing at snowflakes. It is hard to see them on the camera, but I LOVE this picture of her. Sweet.

She is all smiles as her Daddy swings are around and around! I am so glad this thing has seat belts!!!

20 Week Preggo Photos

So it has been a little over a week since I have posted so bear with me while I try to catch back up where I left off....

Here we just left the ultrasound room and found out we are a having boy. I drank way too much before this ultrasound so by the time it was over I was quite frazzled to say the least, plus it is always emotional to see your baby inside your belly. I say emotional for lack of better explanation! When I saw him on the screen tears came to my eyes instantly...I have to add if it was a girl I know I still would have cried. The thought of this little miracle growing and thriving inside of me always brings me back to a place of udder thankfulness and complete respect for the human body. The only bad thing about my location here, is that you have to wait to find out if everything is ok with the baby until your next appointment. So here we go onto the weekend anticipating our next appointment on the 12th.

We had our appointment and the doctor said our son is healthy and looks great! He is stronger at this point than Addison was so it seems to me. His movements catch me off guard at times. He is starting to move more during the day, but he is definately active from 8-11pm and from 4-6am....just like Addison! So far I have gained 8 lbs and my blood pressure and everything else looks good. I have been having weak spells for a bit that have been quite concerning. She instructed me to eat every 1 to 2 hours to keep my blood sugar stable. That is more difficult than one would think! I just hope she knows what she is talking about and all is well. I worry....soooo much!

WE ARE HAVING A......BOY!!!

We found out today that we are having a BABY BOY! We are so excited and happy! Either way we just hope for a healthy baby, but this is a new and exciting adventure to have a SON...wow those words still seem so foreign to me, but I know we will get quite use to saying it before too long!
I asked the ultrasound tech not to tell us right away because I wanted to guess. As soon as she turned the screen around Paul and I both instantaneously saw that it definitely had a boy part and we at the same time said....'IT'S A BOY!"! She said yes it is! It was obvious at that moment we would be welcoming Baby Boy McNeely into the world here in a few months! The pics are very grainy so I apologize for that. The top left pic shows his boy part right above the letter Y, if you look closely you can see his two legs, the second one on the top right show his feet indian style, then the bottom left is his hand balled up into a fist, and then the profile of his body. He would not show us his face... :(
However, we are extremely happy, excited, anxious, thrilled, etc, etc....to met our baby boy! Thanks to everyone for all of the well wishes and the support. I got on the 12th to make sure 'HE' is healthy.
This is to our son.....Baby Boy we are soooo excited to have you in our lives, we love you so much already and we are half way (at least!) to holding you in our arms! YAY!

We didn't even make it to watch the ball drop! LOL! We went to sleep around 11:30pm! I guess that is a sign that we are getting old...or maybe being parents just wares us out...oh, and being pregnant makes one a little tired also! ;)
