So very hard to get a good pic! You may be wondering why Addison is in her bathing suit, it is because she is going to have her first beach experience! That is right, she will get to play in the sand and run on the beach! It will probably be too cold to play in the water, but that is ok. I am so excited to see how she reacts to the sand and the water.
Here we are at another month older and closer to turning the BIG #2! Only 6 months to go. Wow, our baby girl sure is growing up so fast as I say every month. I look at her in the morning sometimes and think my, how she has grown over night! She is looking more and more like a little toddler to me instead of a little baby...BUT she will ALWAYS be my baby no matter how grown she gets! :)
To celebrate her 18 months of precious life here are 18 things about our sweet little Addison Grace:
1) She is VERY active and curious.
2)I call her my little monkey because she likes to climb anything and everything. She will then repeat me and say 'money' meaning monkey. LOL.
3)She has a huge vocabulary for her age. Some new words: monkey, light, light off, don't want it, want it, more, tickle tickle, bubble, hot, owl, bites.... She is starting to put more words together to make short sentences. :0
4)Some new favorite foods are grapes and oranges...that is right! I FINALLY got her to eat the whole piece of fruit and not spit it out....she is funny about textures...I have mentioned this before. Now, I just have to work on grape tomatoes. Anyway, I just kept being persistent and now she LOVES grapes especially. Other favs are curly pasta (she will eat it plain even!), cucumbers, pancakes and sausage, rice, green beans (she will eat cold), and pizza. Enough talk about food, this is making preggo hungry! ;)
5)She loves the outdoors.
6)She loves books and brings them to me ALL day long to read to her. I cannot tell you how many times I read to her a day. She will say 'book, book...'
7)She is 32" tall and in the 30th %. She has come up in percent in her height since her last appointment.
8)She weighs 21 lbs and is in the 10th %. She came up in percent also from 5% to 10% now. Looks like she is just going to be petite.
9)She loves to be tickled! She will even grab your hands to tickle her. Too cute!
10)She trys to dress herself.
11)She loves her baby dolls and plays with them everyday. When we go to playgroup she loves loving on the little babies there. She is very maternal. She pats the babies softly and gives them kisses....real and fake babies! Last night I heard her kissing her baby doll several times. It was so cute and she was trying to dress it.
12)She loves dogs! Not just her dogs, but all dogs. I think she is going to be an animal lover! Wonder who she got that from?!
13)Puzzles are so fun! Even though she can easily do her puzzles now she still enjoys playing with them.
14)She loves going bye-bye, especially playgroup! She is my social butterfly. She goes up to the other moms and sits in their laps and plays with everyone. She tells everyone hi wherever we go. They all smile and think it is cute, which is it. No, I am not biased at all! ;)
15)She can eat pretty good with a real fork.
16)She loves bubbles.
17)Some of her new favorite songs are The Wheels on the Bus (she loves part where the horn going beep, beep and she says 'beep, beep'), and Istsy Bitsy Spider.
18)Her smiles and laughs are the SWEETEST things EVER!!!!
