Playgroup

Addison sitting in the Ms. Judy's lap at playgroup with one of the twins, Kyndale I believe. You can't see her face, but she was smiling. She loves song time.

She got in all by herself. She is ready to go to playgroup that is for sure. She says 'play, play, play'.

Park Fun

The last two weeks I have focused so much on the house and getting things ready for the new baby that I decided this week I would focus on what is more important and that is spending time with Addison. This particular day we went to the park and had lunch. She had so much fun. I enjoyed seeing her run and play.

Random

It is blooming time! LOTS of buds! YAY!

Putting on her shoe. Love the unposed.

Notice her diaper is hanging out, she has on mismatching pj pants, and a random sock....yes, she did this herself. So funny!

Oh, So Pretty!

I just love her different expressions.

She is totally posing for me here. I told her to go sit so I could take her picture and she said CHEESE!

Now she is waving at me. Sooooo cute! She wanted to wear these boots too. She LOVES LOVES LOVES shoes! Paul is going to be in a lot of trouble! ;) She will go to her closet look at her shoes and pick out which ones she wants to wear. That day she chose 'boots'.

Look Familiar

I did this same pose with my pregnancy with Addison a few days before I had her. I wanted to get this one in just in case! I do this for my children so one day they can see what their Mommy looked like with them in the belly. :) I am ready to pop!!!

About 36 Weeks With #2

I just had my checkup last week on Friday (4/30) and all is looking quite well with baby and I progressing well. I did my preadmission paperwork, got my stork parking pass and all the baby's paperwork! WOOHOO! I definitely have entered the last few days ( I can say that now!) of my pregnancy. When the doctor measured the outside of my belly she was quite shocked at how low he is and even said 'Wow, he is down real low!' I knew he had dropped...you can even tell by my pic above! My back, hips, and tailbone has been really hurting for about two weeks now plus more pressure. After she examined me she said he was right on my pubic bone....yes, ouch! She said I was dialated 1 cm, 60% effaced, but my cervix needed to soften a bit more, BUT she thinks that he will be here by or around the 14th, but not much more than a week later if that. She guessed Addison's weight at birth and she said he is around 7 lbs, but the closer to my due date she thinks he will be 7 1/2 lbs. (As at this point in pregnancy they gain ~1/2 lb a week!!! Please son don't be 8 lbs!) She said my body is difinitely working in the pre-process of giving birth. YIKES! It did make me feel good again to here that my body is doing what it is suppose to be doing at this point in time. I told her my concerns of how I have been hurting more and having stronger contractions that with Addison. She said with your second pregnancy that is normal that your body does a lot of the pre-work, but when it gets to the active part of labor it goes faster than the first time...usually half the time....usually! So hopefully with these wide hip bones and the way he is already positioned I am hoping and thinking positively for a quick 'active' labor! Positive thoughts go a long way I do believe! So everyone think positively with me! ;)
As for how I am feeling, I am definitely feeling very pregnant as expected. I have officially 'puffed' up! I told the doctor I was swollen and she said no, honey you are just puffy. Swollen is when you cannot see your ankle bones. I can see it in my whole body and feel it when I have been in the same position for too long. I did the same thing with Addison (but more so) about a week or two before I had her.....so, we shall see!!! I think I am still in denial that I am about to have a baby (let me just note that I do feel extremely pregnant, but cannot believe that it has went by this fast). It is all I can think about though. I just can't wait to see him. Sleep is still hit and miss. Cravings still usually involve ice cream or chocolate. I have a huge sweet tooth when I am pregnant. I tell Paul that is his fault! LOL. Acid reflux is still my lingering friend and has been for about two months now, although has gotten worse the more pregnant I get. The doctor gave me zantac. I still have to eat my bedtime cereal or I will pay for it by 4 or 5 am with complete and utter nausea and an active baby in the belly wanting to eat!
I am already having 'mommy guilt' towards Addison. The last two weeks I have been focusing on cleaning and I have decided that this week I am focusing on what is important, time with her. Not much longer and she will have no choice, but to share Mommy.
It is hard to think that this could be the last pregnancy post! That is why I wanted to include as much as I could in this post. I could literally have him tonight! Wow! I will of course try to post pics of him ASAP for all my blog viewers to see our new addition, even though I try to post in order. Where did this pregnancy go?!?! IT HAS FLEW BY!!!!! Well, most of it that is.....the first 18 weeks of morning sickness went kinda slow. ;)

Making a decision to have a child--it's momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.

Car Seat

I was trying to clean up the baby boys car seat and Addison was 'helping'. Notice her little foot sticking out there without a shoe on it. I love her little feet.

Yummy Cupcake

Yum, this icing tastes good!
I had been wanting to make cupcakes for quite awhile now. Since Paul just had his weigh in over with I thought it was a perfect opportunity! And yes, they were so moist..... and hit the spot!

She tried to shove the whole thing in her mouth.

I think she liked it!

Daddy's Hat

She loves to wear Paul's hat.

I hope she always wants me!!! :)

My hummingbirds are back! I have had my feeder set up for a bit now waiting patiently. Addison likes to look out the window at them and say 'bird'.
