Gifts & Scooby Pinata

Okay, so here is the story behind the pinata--Addison has seen the pinatas in the PX and had been asking for one MONTHS and MONTHS ago. I was surprised she knew what they were and used for. Then at Alexis's birthday party she had one. Addison loved it. So I found a Scooby pinata on Amazon (LOVE that site!) and before I could get over to tell her to JUST pull ONE string she pulled them ALL! Candy went everywhere. At least it was her pinata to pull! No one seemed to mind! LOL! Funny I think.

I must admit, although it is her THIRD birthday, I STILL got emotional inside and held back a tear when we sang Happy Birthday! I wonder if I will always feel that way....and remember the day she was born and all the wonderful feelings. This little girl sure is a hand full, but boy, she is my hand full and I don't know what I would do without her. She has made me learn so much about myself in this trip called parenthood. She has also made me a better person in some ways and made me constantly want to be the best person I can be to be the role model that she needs. I hope I make her proud one day.
