Mommy & Daddy Smash Cake- Literally

Smash Cake
She did much better with this cake than the one in TN. She did tear into it with some help from us, but soon got the hang of it on her own as you can see. No worries she didn't touch the flame on the candle...we blew that out real fast! She even had cake down her diaper! We had to give her a bath afterwards!
Birthday Hats
So at least Granny and I wore the birthday hats. This is an inside joke. I guess the hats were really hard to put together, I wouldn't know because Doris, Nancy and Ava put them together while Granny and I took Addie to her checkup, and from what I hear they were quite difficult. Sorry I missed out on the fun! Thanks y'all for doing that! :)

Some of the yummy food! I think there was too much, but my motto is better too much than not enough! Thanks to everyone for all of their help in making this birthday special for Addison and coming to her party. I could not have done this alone. I know I was a crazy woman, but I just wanted it to be nice for Addison to look back on one day and see how special she is to us.

Granny
Granny went with me to Addison's 12 month check up. I was so glad to have the extra hands! They had to take blood and give her 3 shots! Thanks Granny for you help that day! Shew, glad that is over with!
12 month stats:
Height: 29 1/4 in
Weight: 18 lbs 4 oz
Head circum: 18 in
She is very lean and the doctor said she looked great and he'd rather see a lean baby than a really big one!
She LOVES balloons. She calls them balls...I told her that is what they were weeks ago at another birthday party and she remembered me telling her that.
Granny, Ava, and Addison. Granny is so good with kids!
