Laying Down

I have been working on getting Addison to follow certain commands. So far she sits on her bottom which is great, she helps turn of lights with Mommy's help of course and now she will lay down on the floor so I can change her diaper. She will run off when it is time to change her diaper. She hates this for some reason, but it is helping that she thinks it is a game to lay down when Mommy says to lay down. She smiles so big and gets all happy when she does it.

Tonight we discovered she loves mini M&Ms! That is right, the person who said they would not give their child any of that stuff gave her child a couple M&Ms. All I can say is NEVER say NEVER and NEVER judge other parents on their parenting because you NEVER know what you would do in that situation.

New Nikes

These are her first Nike's. Santa was going to bring them to her, but Mommy decided she needed them sooner since Christmas is a few weeks away and her foot grows SO fast! :) Doesn't she look so cute in tennis shoes?!

We have been so excited to see how Addison reacts this year to festivities of Christmas! So far she loves it all!

She was all into the tubs of decorations checking out everything.

Play, Eat, Play

The girls had tore apart Alexis's room in no time! Toys were everywhere!

Addison got to enjoy her first T-day meal. She loved the ham, turkey, pumpkin pie, and corn casserole.

Oh, buttons and music, what is that?!?!

Sharing Thanksgiving Love

For Thanksgiving the Rase's invited over to their home for dinner with some of their family and other friends. We had a wonderful time and a delicious dinner! How blessed we are to have wonderful friends around us!

Alexis just woke up from her nap and found her little friend was over and had to give her hugs! I am telling you these girls are just so darn cute!

Kisses....

The Girls

They love pushing this stroller around.

Now Alexis and Addison are really starting to play together. They give each other toys and of course take them away, they chase each other, 'talk' to one another and hug and kiss galore!

Fetch with Alley

Addison is getting to be more gentle with the dogs and the dogs are starting to get more use to her also. Alley plays so well with her. Alley is very gentle and easy with her, but of course we always supervise the dogs anytime they are around her. The dogs will let me know when they need their space. Addison just loves the dogs and gets so tickled at them. She wants to kiss them on the mouth even!!!! Any animal that has fur and four legs is a dog to Addison.

Bloomin' Roses

My rose bushes are still blooming out front! I cut these beautiful blooms off and cut back the branches because it is suppose to get cold and stay cold.

Messy Markers

See the orange marker on her hands and her face?! She was so intent on putting the lid on herself.

Marker all over the face!

She enjoys coloring so much. It is a special activity that we do together so when she gets to have her markers and colors its special!

15 Months Old

One thing is for sure and that is that Addison is still as busy as ever! As you can see I had to give her somethings to entertain her a minute so she would just sit still for a moment.

Addison is growing up so fast right before our very eyes. She is learning so much and absorbing EVERYTHING! Boy, do I mean everything...she also imitates what she sees us doing, cleaning, laundry...including Mommy gagging with morning sickness! That is right, she walks around acting like she is going to throw up just like she sees me doing. At first it had startled us thinking that she was about to vomit then she laughed and kept doing it! Me, oh my, the things they notice that we don't even think they notice!

Some new words (off the top of my head) include diaper, baby, bubble bath (it sounds nothing like it!), daddy's juice (everything is juice that is in a cup---this is the first time she has combined two words together), nite nite, bye bye.... She loves all kinds of pickles, cereal (chex for a snack or some of mommy's softened any kind of cereal), corn casserole, and baked ham. She loves for us to read to her and do puzzles still. Now she is starting to play ball and fetch with Alley really well and Alley does so well with her! She has started to respond more to commands like sitting, laying down, helping mommy turn off the light. She really enjoys brushing her teeth too! I hope that continues!

Happy 15 months Addison Grace! Mommy and Daddy love you so much!
