Mason- 8 Months Old

January 13, Mason turned 8 months old! (Yes, I am behind... like always!) Again, where is the time going?! He has started a lot of new things, so I am not even sure where to begin! He has gotten even more vocal, such a squealer, started stage 3 foods, started eating even more of our food, he had mac-n-cheese, broccoli, carrots, roast, noodles, meat for the first time; cheerios, really likes yogurt melts now (his new FAVORITE!), he started PULLING UP AND TAKES STEPS holding on to things (yes, how did this happen?!?! when did my baby grow up so fast?!?!), says Ma and Da (has been, but not sure if I have mentioned this earlier), wants to stand when you go to sit him down, really enjoys standing next to the leap frog table these days, still very happy baby, nurses about 4 to 5 times a day, started taking an extra bottle before bed to sleep through the night, gives the best hugs, loves to play with Mommy's hair and necklace, always smiles when I go to get him out of his crib, thinks his big sister is hilarious :-), prefers baby fruits over veggies and prefers orange veggies over green (go figure!), only likes vanilla baby yogurt (hates banana flavored, but likes real bananas), still likes his soothie when he goes to sleep, wears 6-12 month clothing, size 4 diapers, 6-12 month shoe size, LOVES to snuggle, LOVES to be wrapped up and have his face covered with a blanket when he sleeps, is still a great car baby, loves his bouncing baby music classes, smiles at everyone, still no teeth but he has chewed on a vanilla wafer (love it!), pork rind, play-doh (loves it and instinctually knows when big sis is playing with it he goes under the table to find it as soon as she drops it!) and dirt (this is all thanks to his big sis, except the dirt he grabbed out of a plant before I knew and put in his mouth)...wow, I could really go on and on...as usual! ;)

Happy 8 months to my beautiful baby boy! You are just wonderful in every way!
