My New Hobby--Couponing :))

I have always cut the occasional coupon when I have come across one for a product that I planned on buying, but now, oh now, I have learned a whole new strategy! And yes, before we go any further I do watch Extreme Couponing. This is where I learned about overages, but I do have a love/hate for the show. I must say, I must have gotten Granny Billie Ruth's love for deals because my brain just processes this and I LOVE it! I get a high off of it and it makes me feel good to provide for my family in a different way and still be with all my babies. I started researching and reading about couponing in May If you really want to know how to do it...google it people! The show just intrigued me so my interest grew. I have joined different forums and now have made new friends locally from it. In this short period of time I have created quite a stockpile of pasta, band aids, toothpaste, laundry soap, dishwash soap, cleaners, razors, soap, tape, etc.

So I'd like to start sharing with you some of my couponing experiences. I have learned from others you take photos of your "prizes" and your receipts. :) I still consider myself new, but I am learning fast, so hang on! Lots of couponing to come to my little blog! And yes, my new hobby has taken time away from my old hobby, this ole blog of mine, but I soon will figure out how to fit in time more efficiently.

The pic above I spent $10.10 at Wal-Mart. One Finish Quantamatic system retails for $9.xx! So I'd say I did pretty great, huh?! I only had q's (coupons) for the Finish (it was on clearance for $4.xx and I had $3 q's (yay McMommy!!!) and the cheese, but wm price matched the fruit and the cool whip was on sale $1. It was Memorial day coming up so I made red, white and blue treats! Yes, on the cheap! ;) This could have cost ~$40+.

Here is my first special order. I made money off this order and I bought some extra things over my overage. It was Memorial Day weekend so I bought some BBQ and snacky stuff and more as you can see!
