LOOOOKKK, LOOOOKKKK PENGUINS!!!

Addison remembered seeing the penguins at the TN Aquarium and was SO EXCITED to see them again. That was one of her favorites I assume since she talked about it so much. These outdoor penguins are from Peru so they can live in the warm outside weather.

Yes, she touch the feathers. SUPER soft! Glad to know part of the zoo's proceeds go to help support survival efforts for the animals around the world.

LOVING it!

The indoor penguins....it was 40 degrees in here. SO COOL! No really cool as in awesome! They get so close to you and they had some big penguins and puffers too!

Look at our happy boy! He is loving it too! He just looked and looked at everything. He really enjoyed it as well. Super sweet.

LOTS of penguins!

My boys. :))

Up close and personal!

St. Louis Zoo, Mason's First Zoo 6/2

Addison was SO EXCITED to go to the zoo again. We took her about this same time last year, but to Springfield Zoo. We were SO glad we chose to see this one this time because it was much more awesome! She has been asking ever since we left TN to see animals and to pet them, etc. So I told Paul we must plan a zoo trip as soon as our busy schedule allowed and he took some time off work so it worked out PERFECTLY! It was perfect weather and perfect family fun! LOTS of pics to come! So stay tuned!
We left the house early at like 6 am so we got to the zoo when they opened and before the 95 degree heat hit. Great idea worked prefect! We dressed the kids once we got there even. Addison knew the day before what we were doing and she talked about it ever since....all the way there!

This is Mason's first zoo experience. :)

Both babies were all sun screened up and ready to see some animals in action.

Addison did perfect that day! She did most of the walking as well. She still talks about it to this day and keeps asking to go see animals again! I just wish the zoo was a little closer and we would go more often. Stay tuned....more pics to come!

Beautiful Weather = Outdoor Fun!

My girl loves her some bubbles!

Mason loves to ride things. He tries to ride the step stool, he loves the zebra bouncey thing, and the hippo.

Pay no attention to the messy garage in the background. We were getting ready to do a yard sale.

Look at his sun screened hair do~!
Oh, and again ride the bouncey thing here.

B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!!

She makes me smile.

Tricycle Video

May 31, Addison Can Ride Tricycle!

Such a good Daddy! :)

Gavin checking out Mason's sandbox. He liked it.

Mason was ready for bed!

Addison learned to ride her tricycle herself!!! 5/31

She was so proud...and so were we!

My New Hobby--Couponing :))

I have always cut the occasional coupon when I have come across one for a product that I planned on buying, but now, oh now, I have learned a whole new strategy! And yes, before we go any further I do watch Extreme Couponing. This is where I learned about overages, but I do have a love/hate for the show. I must say, I must have gotten Granny Billie Ruth's love for deals because my brain just processes this and I LOVE it! I get a high off of it and it makes me feel good to provide for my family in a different way and still be with all my babies. I started researching and reading about couponing in May If you really want to know how to do it...google it people! The show just intrigued me so my interest grew. I have joined different forums and now have made new friends locally from it. In this short period of time I have created quite a stockpile of pasta, band aids, toothpaste, laundry soap, dishwash soap, cleaners, razors, soap, tape, etc.
So I'd like to start sharing with you some of my couponing experiences. I have learned from others you take photos of your "prizes" and your receipts. :) I still consider myself new, but I am learning fast, so hang on! Lots of couponing to come to my little blog! And yes, my new hobby has taken time away from my old hobby, this ole blog of mine, but I soon will figure out how to fit in time more efficiently.

The pic above I spent $10.10 at Wal-Mart. One Finish Quantamatic system retails for $9.xx! So I'd say I did pretty great, huh?! I only had q's (coupons) for the Finish (it was on clearance for $4.xx and I had $3 q's (yay McMommy!!!) and the cheese, but wm price matched the fruit and the cool whip was on sale $1. It was Memorial day coming up so I made red, white and blue treats! Yes, on the cheap! ;) This could have cost ~$40+.

Here is my first special order. I made money off this order and I bought some extra things over my overage. It was Memorial Day weekend so I bought some BBQ and snacky stuff and more as you can see!

Check out how long my receipt is!

Happy, yes I was! :)
