Just the Sweetest

Is this not the sweetest thing ever or what?!?! Oh, I love her so incrediably much!

This is the rabbit I made her on my birthday in April (while pregnant) for her birthday and she loves it! It was my focal point during labor. :)

I want to go back to Build-a-Bear and make our son one for his upcoming birthday on my birthday of course. I think it is a sweet idea!

27 Weeks

I just thought this was a cute preggo belly pic to add since there is Addison just hanging out. It kind of documents how big she was also at that time. I am about 26 1/2 weeks in this one. You can definitely see the belly these days, but if I wear a baggy shirt most people are still surprised. It was not that way with my first pregnancy!

It has been awhile since I have updated about the pregnancy. I even am so way behind on updating about my last appointment that I am about to have another appointment in a couple of days. Better late than never. I am 27 weeks in the above pic.

Most days I feel pretty good and still have some energy, but I do tire easily....I am dreading the REALLY tired days that I know are coming! I was so tired at the end of my last pregnancy that the last month we didn't do much of anything. The only real cravings now are just something sweet, mainly ice cream every now and again, and cucumbers BUT my appetite has peaked for sure. Cereal tastes real good for some reason this pregnancy. I have never bought so many boxes of cereal before. Before food was not that appealing, so I know the weight gain is coming!

So everything was great at my last appointment (24 wks)! The baby's heartbeat was sweet music to my ears of course! At 24 weeks I measured 25 weeks, again why I think I am a week or two farther along than they say. He is down low and loves to sit on my bladder. I never experienced that with Addison. My belly is even a different shape than it was with her I think. My blood pressure was excellent so we continue to hope that continues. So I am interested to see what I measure at my next appointment. At my upcoming appointment I get my diabetes test, which always makes me nervous. So I will TRY to update much quicker next time. Just think we could have our baby boy in our arms in as little as 9 weeks! It is going by SO FAST!

Lotionizing the Dogs

Isabell's face with some lotion.

Addison is obsessed with lotion (also known as 'juice') and she decided to share some with the dogs. Of course this was all supervised...if you want to call it that anyways...I was laughing until....

...Alley started eating it! Alley LOVES to eat lotion or lick off of you! This was the end point of the playing with lotion.
Buddy was hiding under the bed as usual!

Buckle

Addison was quite entertained by playing with her straps and buckle on her stroller. She has her head buried in it messing with it. I just thought it was funny so I had to grab a pic.

A Flower

I let Addison check out a flower from my bouquet. She enjoyed feeling it and then ripping it apart! No worries I ended up giving her one that was broken anyway.

She is smelling it and yes, she knows how to smell, but I believe she makes more of a sound with her nose than actually getting a whiff of something. Too cute!

Look at that face!!!!!!

And then the aftermath of the flower.....poor flower it had no chance.

Happy Valentine's Day

My loving thoughtful husband came home the Friday before Valentine's and surprised me holding the above singing along with the balloon...'You're Still the One' (how appropriate of a song :) ), which hormonal me started to tear up! He knew I had been wanting this book and he hand picked out some of my favorite flowers for a HUGE bouquet all for me plus the huge balloon that I already mentioned! SOOO SWEET! Those flowers were heavy! It really is the thought that he puts into things....plus he brought it home that Friday and caught me off guard when Valentine's was that Sunday. Thank you for making me feel so special!!!

Paul brought Addison home two big balloons also, plus I got her some new heart shaped earrings. So loved!

On Valentine's day I make heart shaped pancakes. This was Addison first year to have them! I have to add a funny note, we bought some heart healthy mix and we all decided that some things you just can't make healthy! LOL! We still ate them, but you could tell they were just too different for us.

Also on Valentine's day I always make a heart shaped cookie....usually Paul's favorite with peanut butter cups. So yummy! Looking at this picture makes me want to make more!

Addison giving her Daddy his card from her. She scribbled, I mean wrote, all over it especially for him! He loved it!

Playing at the Mall

Our mall in Springfield has a nice play area for young kids and Addison LOVES LOVES LOVES going there! I wish this mall was just closer so we could go more often. We have learned to take her last because she tires out and falls asleep afterwards. She seriously runs circles around the play area! She cracks me up!

This was just funny! Caught a funny face.

LOVES the slide! I see a swing set with a nice slide on it in our future.
One side note: yes, her eyes look different colors here because my red eye detector colored them that way and I can't fix it, but her eyes really don't look like this! ;)

Happy 31st Birthday to my Wonderful Hubby!!!

This was taken at Paul's favorite restaurant, Buffalo Wild Wings, where he just recieved his birthday monkey from the ballonist. I have to say we were all three amazed at this ballonist! We want one at Addison's birthday party at some point in time! She could make anything! We saw her make Tinkerbell, a snake, a dog....really cool! The restaurant hires the company to come and do this and then you give them tips of course. Paul gave her a nice tip for making Addison a butterfly...and his monkey! It was fun just watching her make them.

However, I cannot believe my husband turned 31! Good thing his wife is still young and in her 20's....hahaha babe! ;) I think he had a great weekend. We went off to Springfield and spent the day shopping. It was nice just being together and he did not want a birthday party so it worked out great. HAPPY 31st BIRTHDAY BABE!!! Love you!

As I have stated numerous amounts of times our child LOVES balloons so the whole time she was watching her make others she was saying 'ball, ball, ball....!' She was too into her butterfly to enjoy her meal I believe.
