He made the saddest face ever after his shots, but as soon as I picked him up he stopped crying. :) Love my boy!
It is hard to believe my boy is 2 months old (at the time I am actually getting around to posting this, he is just a few days from turning 3 months, yes I am that behind!!!)!!! At his checkup he weighed 11 lbs 8 oz (50th percentile), length 23 inches (75th percentile) and head circumference 40.3 cm (75th percentile). I knew he was long and had a bigger head because it is hard to get some things over his head and the length was too short on some things. At two months he was steadily outgrowing 0-3 months and 3 months things going into 3-6 months and 6 months clothing! It is the length and yes, again the feet that I have to watch. Besides all those stats he is doing great and is healthy!!! Yay, for mommy's milk!!! Speaking of mommy's milk, the pediatrician was concerned about his spitting up and his numerous poops. She wants me to eliminate milk, yogurt and cheese from my diet. I have to add, now almost a month later, :-0, it has helped TREMENDOUSLY!!! He hardly spits up if any and his dirty diapers have decreased dramatically. Every now and again he will have a good spit up, but it is much better than the huge spit ups every fed. We have made progress. I do believe he has a more sensitive stomach than his big sister did. Overall, Mason is such a happy, content baby who has been sleeping 8 hours at night and still is...in HIS OWN CRIB since we got back from TN. I believe his first whole night in his crib was like 7/18 round about. I was a nervous wreck checking on him several times, but now at this point I am starting to sleep more rested and not worry...as much ;) . He doesn't mind tummy time either, but has already rolled over and at the time of this post he is rolling over almost every tummy time now! :-0 Addison did not roll over for the first time until she was 3 1/2 months old while Mason did it for the first time at 7 wks old! The difference is amazing! My boy loves to kick his legs and watch tv...lights, motions and sounds! He cooed at about 5 wks and now giggles too. It is so precious! Addison is still in love with him, but I do have to remind her to be 'easy'. She loves to bring him his paci or his 'blankey'. Blankets in our house are called blankeys now! So funny how they come up with their own words. It seriously feels like yesterday that I woke Paul up at 3am and told him 'he is coming soon!' and we were heading to the hospital and a little over 4 hours later here Mason Garnett McNeely came into the world at 7:12 am!!!
To my son, you have only been in our lives for a couple months now, but we can not imagine what life was before you! It seems like we have always been this family of four and couldn't be happier!!! I love seeing your beautiful smile and hearing your sweet little laugh each and every day!!! Just like your big sister you continue to surprise me each and every day! Happy 2 months son! We love you dearly!!!
