I paid ~$15 for all of this. You ask HOW?! By matching some coupons with sales, a little overage and by buying reduced vegetables/fruit when possible. The Bounty napkins were marked down to $1.47 w $1 q was $.47 OOP. The cereal was BIGI up $2.10, so that was like buying a box for $1.05, for me that is a stockpile price! Cereal for about a dollar or less is for sure a deal people....name brand or not! I did pay full price for the pinto beans! ;) I'm trying to feed the boy more beans so I will pay full price. ;0 I also paid full price for the zucchini because I wanted to make zucchini bread. The boy loves bread so I want to take the opportunity to add in some veggies where I can! And the milk was full price. Addison LOVES her some raw carrots so when I saw a 2 lb bag on mark down for a $1 I snatched them up! Not a thing wrong with them and we eat them so fast anyway.
Again matching a deal with an overage....$.30 not bad for a can of fruit!
Another Kroger trip...to go to Rolla it has to be worth my time and this one was, but I didn't take a pic...oops!
I paid $.10 for these 3 things. The corn was on mark down for $.30...a deal in itself, but again matched with a little overage, even better!
This was strictly a shopping trip for coupons that were going to expire, but for items that we use. My shopping trips now a days definitely look a little different than they did before, but so far this is working well for us. I am also able to give to others, which is a wonderful feeling.
Here is an example of giving...we do not need 6 cases of fruit...although FREE, so we kept what we needed and I gave to others who would enjoy. :D I believe this is a good lesson for our children as well. I fully plan on teaching them the "art" of couponing and sharing.
Paid a penny for a big bottle of apple juice.
FREE--do not get me wrong, I LOVE my bath & body works soap...those who know me, know I do, BUT I do LOVE free as well! :D
I just had to pay tax on 5 of these little puppies! When the refill itself runs $4 or $5 this is a deal people, even if you don't use the purple sprayer gadget! Again a sale with a coupon....so far if you cannot tell, I am lovin' my new hobby....and so is my hubby! ;)
I'm posting more of my couponing because everyone is asking and with todays gas prices it is nice to cut costs where we can. I have even been asked to give classes! :0 Maybe one day...although, I quiet often give quick lessons in the store, because people are asking.
